Cuisinart DLC-2 Mini Prep
Mini food processors are an important link in the food processor chain. The Cuisinart Mini Prep Plus, is one of the most popular on the market. With only a 3-cup bowl, don’t expect to be doing any major processing in this. Mini food processors are best used for small jobs, like making salads or pesto.

Once again Cuisinart delivers a strong product in the 9-cup category with the Cuisinart CFP-9GMPCY , or the Prep 9 as it is also known. This is a terrific little machine, delivering more capacity than the 7-cup models and additional features that make it a joy to use, like a large work bowl opening which means less cutting and slicing beforehand.

In this category, the Cuisinart food processor that demands your attention is the DLC-2011CHDY. This is another solid model from Cuisinart, although it has come in for some build quality criticism. Overall though, this is still a good food processor to look at and most customers are happy with it.
A Cuisinart model to avoid here is the DLC-8S, or as it is known these days, the 11-Cup Pro Custom. This is a model with various construction issues, and while it still gets lots of positive feedback, we will recommend you avoid it.
Cuisinart DFP-14 BCNY
These are the big boys, and here Cuisinart offers two solid models in the Elite Collection 14-Cup and the considerably cheaper DFP-14. The latter is less powerful, featuring a 720W motor as opposed to the 1,000W of the Elite Collection. Both provide excellent performance though. The price difference can be as much as $70, so if your needs are not too demanding, you may wish to consider the DFP-14.
So, there you are, a quick summary of the Cuisinart food processors available right now. We hope this short guide, and our reviews of the products mentioned, helps you find what you’re looking for.
